Hydraulic Infeed System
The GREENWOOD wood chipper is equipped with a powerful hydraulic infeed system designed to maximize feeding efficiency and operator safety. The hydraulic drive motor delivers consistent pulling force, allowing branches, brush, and irregular materials to be fed smoothly into the chipping chamber with minimal manual effort.
The integrated control valve enables operators to easily adjust the feed direction, including forward, neutral, and reverse functions. In the event of a blockage or oversized material, the reverse function allows quick clearing without shutting down the machine.
Combined with the aggressive infeed roller design, the hydraulic feeding system provides strong gripping power and continuous feeding performance, improving productivity while reducing operator fatigue.
Wood Chipper Flywheel
Greenwood wood chippers are equipped with a 24″ to 30″ dynamically balanced flywheel according to different models. This flywheel paired with specific engineering components, delivers 200 lbs. of energy to quickly and easily chip a variety of branches.
We use heavy structural steel plate to house the flywheel.Featuring Greenwood’s patented flywheel design, knife replacement can be completed in 10 minutes by an experienced operator. Each rotor disc is precision-machined in our advanced C N C machining centers, guaranteeing superior accuracy, reliable performance for years of service
